we can use kppp connection (point to point).
It is will solve user problem, You can use script to
transfer files.

hello
i have configured nis master with 2 slaves
and the maps was like this in my Makefile

all: passwd group hosts shadow rpc services protocols
# netgrp shadow publickey networks ethers bootparams printcap \
# amd.home auto.master auto.home auto.local passwd.adjunct \
# timezone locale netmasks
########################
every thing is working fine than i have removed rpc services
protocols(which i don't)
and updated maps
but, the old file rpc services protocols still not removed from my maps
how can i remove it from maps ?

and MDK 10.
How to solve this problem.

I want to write an appliaction program for data transfer b/w two
systems back to back through modem telephone line(both systems have modems
with telephone line connection b/w systems)...
and
In minicom when we enter "AT" reply "OK" is comming but, how to send
data...i.e how to shift b/w data mode to command mode...

'tuxracer' requires hardware acceleration. Please check if DRI
is enabled on your Mandrake 10's X configuration file.
PS: I assume your video card is Intel 810/815.
