    adblock is installed. even disabling that did not solve the
problem.

Disable all extensions and restart firefox.  See how that helps.

Or start firefox in "safe mode"  - without extensions etc. Try that way.

Hi Mr.SRS

I tried all your above suggestions. Still I am not able to read yahoo mails
using firefox.

I also installed Epiphany browser in Ubuntu 7.04 and tried yahoo mail page.
It too behave in the same way not displaying body of the mails.

I wonder why the same firefox 2.0.0.6 is working fine in Mandriva 2005 and
not in Ubuntu 7.04 and Windows xp. Any more clues or suggestions?
