Hi,
i m running Gusty gibbon ubuntu 7.10 on my system and i installed java
using the ubuntu dvd... Java is workding properly but there is a
problem when i work with Java in GUI mode... if i run that program...
say a window is popped out and u have to fill details in it... What
happens is its getting popped out but after few seconds we can't even
close the window... it gets stuck...
can u give some idea..?

Hi guys,
I've been having a problem with Ubuntu on my laptop for some
months now. I`m unable to upload any file to any server from my laptop in
Ubuntu. I can upload via windows ( I have dual boot ) so it cant be a
problem with my internet connection or the servers i`m uploading to. I've
tried lots of forums to no avail. If I bring my laptop to the meet tomorrow,
will someone be kind enough to take a look at it and tell me what the
problem is?
