dnt have a complicated wvdial setting:
the dial no must be *99# and boud rate is 115200
the configuration shoull be
[Dialer Defaults]
Init1 = ATZ
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
stupid mode = 1
Modem Type = Bluetooth Modem
Baud = 115200
New PPPD = yes
Modem = /dev/rfcomm0
ISDN = 0
Phone = *99#
Username = [Any No Or Text]
Password = [Any No Or Text]
save this configuration and restart your bluetooth!!
if still the problem persists then scan your phone for channel

Try adding username (yourphone number) and password( may be your name) , try
/etc/wvdial.conf is as below
[Dialer Defaults]

Username = <>
Init1 = ATZ
Password = <>
Modem = /dev/ttyACM0
Baud = 460800
[..]
running 'wvdialconf' is it detecting your modem? If wvdialconf command is
not detecting your modem, try changing the "baud" manually (tip if the
connection speed is 230kbps then change it to 203400) , i ?got problem
connecting ?bsnl wll phone internet , but changed the baud in
/etc/wvdial.conf manually ?and ?now ?its working :)

Hi, i am not sure if i should mail here about this networking issue here or
not. One of my server is running under Debian 5.0
It is Dspace instituitional respository server. Each and every
administrative jobs like data entries are being done over web browser. But,
the problem here is, when our office networking becomes too much busy, our
data entry operator cannot input data there in my dspace server, it becomes
really really slow to submit any documents there in that Dspace server.
Now, i need to bypass our proxy server in order to boost up this data entry
operation. How can i do that? I mean, how can i make my Dspace server enable
for "bypassing proxy server"?

u can simply do this by setting bypass proxy server in ur's data entry
client's computer by going to .....edit===> preferences ==>network setting
in web browser of ur client....
