First of all - follow list guidelines and do *not* top post. It
really messes up the line of thought. Also trim your message to the
relevant lines only.
Top posting may be acceptable in business emails but for technical
discussions inter-leaved style is the best.
It is *not* a good idea to continue using a product that is EoL.
That is what Shakti was telling you, indirectly it meant migrate to
the latest Fedora release.
From your response, it looks like you do not want to upgrade.
In that case, migrate to another distribution that has long term
support; options are (a) Debian Wheezy, (b) Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (c)
CentOS 6.
