. I understand that the onboard integrated
graphics (a Radeon X1250) don't work with the free linux drivers (neither
xf86-video-ati nor -avivo).
It should work . But you will be limited to the accelerations available with
r300.
You can try the fglrx , I am not sure about fglrx for this model though,
