Hi,me
Please correct me if i am wrong in here ...anywhere....I wanted to
understand the online payments arena better:
Simply put : i am launching a new service and i want my customers to pay
via credit card OR paypal account.websites
The money can either go into my bank account directly OR into my paypal
account(from which i can withdraw later).
So this is what i have understood so far:
1. i can accept creditcard or pp payments using paypal using their
paymentstandard<https://merchant.paypal.com/cgi-bin/marketingweb?cmd=_render-conten
This costs around 5$ for every 100$ worth of transactions.+per
2. I can accept the same using authorize
<http://www.authorize.net/solutions/merchantsolutions/pricing/>which would
transfer the money to my bank account. This costs approx 20$ per month
txn fee) and before that the setupfees. Lets say this costs 20+100*0.10=30$
per month. (is it possible to link a bank account in India to this? - i
guess they call this as merchant account?
Now, i understand these 2 services, but how do
chargify<http://chargify.com/pricing-and-signup/>,
cheddargetter <https://cheddargetter.com/pricing>and spreedly
<http://spreedly.com/>work? I mean, do these also provide the same feature
of accepting payments online or are these just billing services(like a
ledger to keep track of payments).
Help?
-V
