You can not see them as separate partitions like d: or e: using file
manager.

you can see them using the following command.

df -h

it will list the mount point the size of the disk.

Instead of showing it as a folder windows shows it as D:, E:. There is no
much difference between them. Linux does not use drive letter thing.

In nautilus (the default GNOME file manager) you can see mounted partitions
listed in left pane (if there is no left pane press F9 to get it).
