[Ilugc] setting up dual boot

I guess Mint installer is looking for a partition w/o any filesystem
on it.  Your /dev/sda5 has an ext4.

as mentioned at the time when I tried I had unused unformatted free
space on the disk.

Please follow up with Baskar's request for the /etc/fstab contents in
your Fedora installation.
I agree with him, it looks like you do not have any free hard disk space.

To be sure:
Within Fedora, try to create sda6 and let us know the result.
