[Ilugc] suggest a newsletter software

Yes mailman can do much more than that - it is much suitable for a
discussion list. For just sending newsletters one-way communication may be
enough, I'm not sure if any other software suits better for announcement
lists. Anyway mailman should satisfy your requirements best AFAIK.
I have no experience with PHPList.


It is Python and works quite well.

But I have no experience with it.
