I wish to conduct one day workshop related to open source programming..
Main objective of this workshop is to be
How to edit/ modify the existing code in Open source software.. (any s/w)
Shall we start with a python programming workshop?
Decide some suitable dates for the workshop.
(Weekend preferred)
I need hands on training in this.. to demonstrate everything.
Hope you have GNU/Linux lab there for workshop.
in this similar, i like to establish open source community in our campus..
any can help in these regards?
Great initiative.
Just collect some interested students from 1,2 3,4 years.
We can help them to learn the Free Software Philosophies and GNU/Linux.
We can conduct GNU/Linux Demo day inside the college campus with that team.
Thus, slowly we can build the interest in GNU/Linux among students.
The team can conduct similar events in other colleges too.
Once they are ready for programming, we can help them to contribute to
open source software too.
