but for inside a specific application script, which does not use the del key, it could be quite useful, I'm going to have to keep this in mind for game work, since you can steel almost any key within an application... smile

Possibly by editing the jkm file after you have assigned some other key to the script, but do you think this is wise? I could imagine that windows might give you the delete function anyway.
