Ok, We're all in agreement then. its just that "announcement" is a weasel
word that can be used in many ways. For example, the original email message
was an "announcement" of a money making venture directed right at scriptors
and not an announcement of publically available information free of charge.
In other words a commercial for a product can also be an announcement under
this person's personal definition. With all that said, and with clarity
established, let's move on.
