hmmm. very ugly indeed!
go back to earlier version of jaws where it didn't happen is what I'd be
recommending for a quick fix eh.
As a different attempted fix, try installing just an earlier version of the
jawsvid.dll file. That's the disappearing icons trick where I've seen
differing jawsvid.dll files render amazingly different amounts of graphics
onscreen.
but this sounds far worse than that to me.
