sure they can. when you get to the name of the frame part of the Modify event wizard, if you tab once from that list of frames to choose from, you should see a Voice Context combo box. that's where you can change what voice is used to speak the frame, if your just doing it all InHouse, with the frames manager. Thanks to Jackie, I have learned that in script manager land, you can choose the voice to speak a string or string variable etc, by using the function: SayUsingVoice (VCTX_JAWSCURSOR, "StringToSpeak", Ot_String) Substitute PCCursor instead if you want pc Cursor voice, though that's the normative one that say uses anyway I think by default. BTW after assigning a frame to an OnKey Speak frame event, you can go in there to retweak things by controlTabbing to the events tab, then hitting alt+enter, or alt+M for modify event, then you'll go through the wizard and can tweak things that way. ----- Original Message ----- From: "GianniP46" <giannip46@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "JawsScriptsList" <JawsScripts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; "BlindTechList" <BlindTech@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 13, 2010 9:53 AM Subject: [jawsscripts] Can frames speak with the PCCursor instead of the JawsCursor? > Hi, > The subject line says it all, > Can you have a frame speak with the PCCursor instead of the JawsCursor voice? > > I am using Jaws 11. > > Gian Pedulla > GianniP46@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > LETS!
