[jawsscripts] Changing hotkeys already defined in application or leaving them alone

I saw some scripts for an application that took the current hotkeys for it
and redefined them to something else. When I typed control n expecting one
thing, I got something totally unrelated. The menuItem I was looking for
said control n was new. This of course isn't a wise idea since it would get
people annoyed and very confused. Is this true? The other thing would be,
should I just give support for the parts of the application that say, don't
have hotkeys defined?
