There was an external JfwAPI or JfwAPICtrl dll file that was in use for
older versions of JAWS.
It came bundled with a bunch of JAWS friendly software and I believe Jamal
still uses it; I don't know how many versions of the file exist but the one
I've been using still works in Jaws 10 (as well as the freedomSci system).
For a few lines of code, I figure its best to try both as they seem to be
different interfaces to a similar system.
