It would be nice. But there's never been enough of an organized initiative.
I think part of it may be some scripting is free and open source, some is free
but closed source, then there is the whole commercial side of scripting both
JAWS scripts for sale, and JAWS scripting done for companies' use and they
either don't want to distribute it or it never occurred to them. E.g., a call
center isn't in the business of software distribution so even if they don't
object to sharing they may have just never thought of it.
This list is generally opposed to advertising of commercial scripts for sale
for example. Which is fine. But either there needs to be one service that
allows all types, or else we stil need 3 different services. So net net nothing
is done and is sadly unlikely to change.

Thanks for that information on your own script repository.
It astounds me that Freedom Scientific never established same as a
service to the JAWS User Community. They wouldn't have to give their blessing
to the scripts, either, as a "Use at your own risk," warning would work just
fine and the community as a whole would likely be very good at policing whether
any "rogue script" were placed there and spread the word.
I actually prefer community policing to any attempt to vet the scripts before
being made available as that would make it well-nigh impossible to get things
out there in a timely manner.
I just find it sad that there are almost certainly thousands upon
thousands of scripts that might be reusable for many others, especially for
esoteric software that few use, that no one else can get to. There's an awful
lot of reinvention of the wheel going on.
