Also wondering if this has anything to do with Jaws set to use the block of
6 insert key as the modifyer? In Jaws settings, you can choose whether to
use the extended insert key as the jaws key, otherwise, it would probably
report the way you've said. Best steve.

Hi, I believe it is in the default key map file. There is a section that
reads
[Desktop Modifiers]
Insert=17|3|0|2|0|0|0x4020800
And there is a similar entery in the laptop modifier section. I have not
looked at these for a long time and don't remember what all the parameters
are.

Working with someone whose JawsKey is no longer recognized. They think it
is desktop layout. But, turning keyboard help on, then pressing
jawsKey+delete just speaks the unmodified delete key.
Do any of you know where the selection of waht is the JawsKey is stored.
Is that inferred from the keyboard layout? Or, is it a separate thing.
