Bingo! QT4 is exactly the tool they use. And, this is a cross platform
application. Thanks for the information, even though it is not good news.
If anyone else knows about a magic formula to make a QT4 application work
with Jaws, please let me know. In the absence of such voodoo, I will work
on some other method for accessing the database of source files.

Good evening Tom,
I have never used these applications. However, I have run accross
this type of problem in the past with two applications. Each
application was developed with a cross-platform windowing toolkit,
QT4, which prints text to the screen in a manner which JAWS cannot
access it.
