Hi,
Has anyone seen this new "background reader" feature that ZoomText has?
http://www.aisquared.com/blog/2011/11/zoomtext-10-feature-leak-background-re
ader/

I have thought before that something like this would be nice in JAWS but
have never been quite sure how to make it practical, since JAWS is so speech
oriented itself.
A couple of possibilities I can think of work flow wise would be to have
reading in background, and then that interrupted when the user requests
information from JAWS. But be able to read in background when the user is
doing nothing or is typing...

Another option I thought about is reading in background while what the user
is currently doing is silenced and is portrayed using braille alone.
From a JAWS scripting perspective I am not sure if this is technically
possible to silence JAWS in a specific app while having speech come from say
the default scripts?
But it would possibly be the most effective workflow wise as the user would
be using two senses to gather information.

Anyways, I am throwing this out in case someone else has also considered it
in the past and has some ideas for consideration...
