Wow, That did it!! I never would have thought of that. It also turns out that none of the long file names I was using had spaces within their first 6 characters. I tried using the long filenames on a scenario that had spaces in the first part of the filename and could not get it to work. Just for giggles, how would the following path be handled?? *Run("C:\\two time\\Delete_pdf.exe")* I tried using the following: *Run("C:\\two time\\Delete~1.exe")* and it did not work. Sorry if I'm making more work for you but I really want to understand this for future scripting jobs. Thanks very much.
