Thanks. These functions indeed did change the language and grade.
In this processs I am constantly querying the active mode using:
SayString(BrailleGetTranslatorModeName (BrailleGetCurrentTranslatorMode ()))
The results do not match the settings I have in Settings Center. I am, for
instance, right now being told by my script that I am using "Chinese (Hong
Kong, Cantonese)"
When in fact my Default Settings in Settings Center are set to use "English
United States" as "language" and "Output" is set to "Computer Braille".
I am working in the Danish language using JAWS 18 64 bit on Windows 10 but
am testing with English for the purpose of posting to this list so it should
be possible to duplicate the results.
So I am still not sure at all which functions correspond to the settings in
Language and Grade in the Braille section in Settings Center.
Any ideas?

Hello Daniel,
I think the functions
BrailleSwitchTransLanguage ("deu")
And
BrailleSetTranslatorMode (0)
Are, what You are looking for. Put numbers from 0 to x into the translator
mode, I don't know, how many grades Your desired language has.
