Hi Steven,

This should be easy to do in the same way as the sayBatteryLevel script
works.

Briefly, sayBatteryLevel uses the SysTrayGetItemCount function to return the
number of icons in the tray, then loops through them, checking the tool tip
text for each one with SysTrayGetItemToolTip.

On my laptop, however, the icon isn't visible all the time - I don't know if
this is a windows setting, or if JAWS isn't picking it up properly.

Sean.

Subject: [jawsscripts] Scripting System Tray icons

hello friends,
i wonder if someone can help me please, I would like to create a key press
if possible that will allow me to hear the information from the wireless
status icon in the system tray at any time, so that I can monitor it really.
do you think that this is possible with a script please?

Many thanks in anticipation,

Steve.
