I use Slack for a long time, but without any scripts.
Slack is changing very often, so the scripts might need to be updated often
also.
I don't use Slack for common chat where the messages are exchanged very
quickly, so I don't need scripts, but in case it is used in Firefox, the
desktop notifications speak the last received message, especially if the
browser doesn't have the focus (but this doesn't happenalways).
It is not as easy to use nor as accessible as Skype, but it has many other
features. It is also good for integrating it with other web services.
Why do you want to abandon Skype?

Subject: [jawsscripts] Slack
Hi,
Are there any public JAWS scripts for Slack?
I'm considering abandoning Skype for Slack but Slack is a bit
intimidating.
It'd be nice if the chat feature could work similarly to Skype, and
checking
if anyone else has already explored this.
Thanks.
Travis
