[jawsscripts] Re: The problematic highlight bar non-reading of an HTML-based "dropDown," that isn't identified as an editCombo box?

I always use sayColorAtPoint() for this kind of thing, Geoff, but
browser based apps are notorious for either being wrong or not
reporting the color at all. Thus, the highlight color may or may not
work.

Another thing to look at is can this be gotten to via objects. Often,
these dropdown lists are nothing but listboxes in drag. So, if u can
actually determine which item is in fact the focussed object, that
might be a way to be successful, too. I had 1 instance where I
actually had to drop out of forms mode to read the list item, then go
back into forms mode in order to down arrow & read the next item. It
was a real pita, that's a certainty. Jaws scripting = Square pegs +
round holes
