[jawsscripts] Re: Trying to use FocusChangedEvent to read some WPF controls etc.

Ok, in both the WPF application, as well as the simpler .Net windows
application, both hNew and GetFocus() return: unknown window type.

Also, not so important yet, but why is it telling me that the window name is
actually the text on a button for example, as opposed to an actual control
name, etc. etc.

For example, in the very simple standard .Net windows dice rolling app I'm
testing the scripts on, it says the button's name is:
Roll dice!

If you want, I could put these two test apps up somewhere for you to download
and test for me, but you would need things like relatively recent service packs
for windows to have been installed for new enough versions of the .net
framework etc.?

The second simple one is literally a dice rolling one I put together where I
can tell it max/min values, and let it return the random number for me, but
anyway...

Stay well

Try a
> let sDesc = "window type: " + GetWindowType (GetFocus())
and see if hNew and GetFocus are the same.

Thanks,
