Daryl,
Not sure if the following is what you're looking for, but JAWS does have some
built-in code for multiple placemarkers.
On a webpage one can set multiple placemarkers then move to 4 different
placemarkers by pressing the number row numbers 7, 8, 9, and 0.
Maybe taking a look at the mechanics of the script can help you.

Subject: [jawsscripts] Using Scripting to Add Keystrokes to Placemarkers?
Hi Everybody,
I am starting to collect a number of reliable placemarkers for several
web-based applications I use at work.
I would like to add keystrokes to them so that I can activate them immediately,
rather than pressing k until I move to the desired position.
Since JAWS doesn't seem to have this built-in functionality, I decided to try
writing a script.
A browse through the available script functions does not provide an easy way to
add this capability.
Has anyone out here accomplished the goal of adding keystrokes to placemarkers
on websites? If so, could you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Darrell
