Hi Greg,
Thanks for confirming that the extra speech problem in the folder list
seems to be fixed now. Regarding the help file, I suspect this is an IE8
and/or Vista security problem, though don't know how to fix it. With IE7
and Vista, Insert+H does open the help file for me. At the end of running
the installer, however, the help file is opened but unreadable. There is
no virtual cursor and the status line says "protect mode." Thus, I think
Windows/IE is sometimes not giving JAWS the MSAA or other info it needs to
open an HTML file, depending on how that file is opened.

The scripts do use a standard technique for opening an HTML file in the
default browser. The complete path and file name of the script, enclosed
in quotes, is passed to the JAWS Run function, which is equivalent to
passing it to the Windows Start/Run dialog. Perhaps try changing your
default browser to Firefox and see if that makes a difference.

Jamal

Hello Jamal,
This version seems to have fixed my problems with the double speaking in
the folder tree. Now I just have to figure out why I cant get the help
file to open in Internet Explorer Eight. Every time I try to open it it
tells me navigation was cancelled. If I go to the file by going to
explore my settings and open it with firefox it works fine. I have two
pc's running the TB scripts and the problem only occurs on my Vista
machine.
Thanks,
Greg Wocher

http://EmpowermentZone.com/tb_scr.exe

or .zip (manual install currently necessary on 64-bit Windows)

Recent changes:

Made Alt+A, Alt+D, or Alt+S spell attachments, date, or size data when
pressed twice quickly in message list mode. Fixed Control+Shift+Letter
commands not being available when first opening Thunderbird (and no
treeview or list is in focus). Tried to fix double speaking and other
extraneous speech when navigating among folder items was occurring with
JAWS 11 though not 10). Added about 200 help topics from MozillaZine.org
to the Thunderbird documentation that follows the script documentation.
As far as I know, this is now the most comprehensive collection of
Thunderbird help topics in a single file!
