For the expert scriptors out there, I have what might be a very simple
request, but it might get a bit involved. :)
I'm a scripting newbie, and I'd like to write a JAWS script to place focus
on the Windows 10 desktop. I know I can already use Windows key+D, but I
want to attach a touch gesture to this command. In other words, how can I
use a JAWS script to simulate the Windows key+D default Windows command and
attach a JAWS gesture such as a 5-finger double tap that will place JAWS
focus on the desktop?
I've already used the keyboard manager to associate a 5-finger pinch to
SayTime. When I execute the gesture twice quickly, I get the date spoken to
me. Incredibly basic touch gesture, but it makes me smile when it works. :)
My ultimate goal is to create many JAWS gestures on my Windows tablet to
replace various basic operating system interface commands such as Alt+Tab to
switch Windows, focus on the desktop, maximize Windows, send Alt+F4 to close
an application, use a complex JAWS touch gesture to put my computer to sleep
or shut down, etc. etc.
If anyone can give me some ideas I'd really appreciate it. :)
