[jawsscripts] What programming language is the closest to the jaws scripting language?

Hi list members, i'd like to know if there is a programming language that is
the closest to the jaws scripting language? I want to understand the scripting
language to the point that i could write a good script for some programs that
don't seem to have good jaws scripts written for them! Thank you for any
information that you might have.
