Hi All,
One of the things I would like to do in Winamp is to jump by much larger
incruments of time. A script writer for Window-Eyes has developed scripts
that allow use of alt+DownArrow and Alt+UpArrow to change the time
incruments by minutes. The minutes increase with alt+UpArrow, and decrease
with Alt+DownArrow. Pressing Alt+RightArrow and Alt+LeftArrow respectively
move back and forward through the file by that specific number of minutes.
I have read through the script manual and have taken Brian Hartgenâs intro
to scripts course, but am not sure how to start the development for this
particular script.
As an initial first step, just to see if I could get anything accomplished,
I created my script to use alt+RightArrow. I then tried calling the
JumpToRelativeTime script as a start, and have even tried invoking
{AltShiftJ} and then using TypeString to type a value in the edit field and
then PerformScript (Enter), but neither approach works. If I call the
specific script, the window opens, but the additional keystrokes are not
entered. If I have JAWS type ControlShiftJ to bring up the dialog that
way, nothing happens.
I have even tried to break the original JumpToRelativeTime script down to
determine which part of it I could use in my own script, but have been
unabel to successfully do so. I am more than willing to do the actual
script development myself, as I want to learn, I just need a basic
direction in which to go if possible, as I have spent hours without success.
