Hi everyone, Thanks to all of you whom have provided ideas in regard to my piping output questions. I've got the script running for the most part now but would like to tidy it up as suggested by Paul by ensuring a file path and type as part of the let statement for the time variable. If I use the line: Let sTimeNow=(SysGetTime ("hh-mm-ss")) The system time is stored in the desired variable in the desired format but I've not be able to work out how to build this function call into a file path/type structure without causing errors. I've tried the statement: Let sTimeNow="c:\\LocationFolder\\"(SysGetTime ("hh-mm-ss"))".txt' But the script manager reports that the hh-mm-ss part of the function call is an unknown variable. I've given a number of other ideas a go but would appreciate any suggestions that people might have as to a nice tidy way to make this happen.
