Jaws is in use by me since 2000! I like it a lot. It has helped me in many ways.
Sorry that my English writing is not that ok. I did mostly learn to speak
English not to write it;-)
I love Music, swimming and reading ebooks. I am a DJ myself.
I now have deep nees for a script for an applikation. It is to speed up the
process and get information faster and also the newest information.
Imagine this:
I have in my Program a window that can be called up with f10.
There on I have information that changes every sekend. the information is a
number. To make it simple to understand: It is a stock going up and down. So I
need the following:
1. I need to be able to press a shortcut for example control+shift+u
2. the script should press f10
3. when I press that shortcut the script should read the information on the
screen corordinates again and again (the aktual information not the one saved
in the buffer because jaws was not finished reading) but the newest info.
4. when I hitt that shortcut again it should stop reading the information and
press escape to close that window opened with f10.
I need this kind of template for this aplikation a lot. There are different
stocks and it also comes hendy when I have positions open to hear if I make
profit or a loss.
The template I need is:
1. pressing a shortcut
2. get read the newest information at speciffic corordinates again and again
until
3. I hitt the shortcut again to stop it.
What I have done so far is that I installed the hotspot clicker script pakage
from http://www.hotspotclicker.org/ .
With that Pakage I was able to assigen this korordinates to a shortcut.
So every time I now press control+shift+u I hear the number once. So the final
question now is:
1. How do I script it in a way that the number gets repeated until I press the
shortcut again?
2. How do I tell the script to read the newest number once jaws finished saying
the number?
I need information up to date and very fast in that applikation. I hope it can
be done!
