Try setting Word Zoom to whole page.
Word 2016:
Within the View menu of the ribbon locate and press enter on Zoom...
Note: quickly locate the previous setting by pressing Alt followed by W, Q
Use your JAWS cursor to click on "whole page." You can use the tab key but
it takes longer.
It is likely Word is configured to show your work in two pages side by side
rather than a continuous page.

Hello all,
Not sure if this is best done with a JFW script or a macro in Word.
I'm using word 2013 and the latest version of JFW. I run across cases where
when I read by line jaws will skip a complete page. This seems to mainly
happen when print view is active. Doesn't happen when I switch to draft
view. This just started occurring again after the latest revision to JFW.
I open and scan about 20-30 word documents a day and do not want to have to
manually switch to draft view every time to make sure I'm not skipping
pages.
I've already asked JFW tech support about this and switching to draft mode
is there answer, not a very good one if you ask me.
