I would use FindWindowWithClassAndId and then SendMessage BM_GETSTATE If the button is checked, the return value will bit-and with 0x03 The value for BM_GETSTATE is 0x242A in case it's not in the hjconst file, and the wParam and lParam are both unused and 0.
