[kanchilug] BootCamp training for open source languages to freshers in kanchipuram

Dear Friends,
Greetings.
Yesterday myself and my brother were talking about the job opportunity for
freshers.
we have a plenty of openings for freshers for those have experienced in open
source languages
like Ruby, Python, Php, and open source database.
But the thing is no one college students have the awareness of open source.
(almost)
For example, take our kanchipuram surrounded colleges like AMACE, Pallavan
Groups, Pachayyappas College, Sanakra University, Thirumalai Engg College,
etc.,
What these college students are doing after complete their degree ?
Surely they will go to chennai to search job.
To be frank, freshers (students) dont much strong in any languages. Even C,
C++, Java ( as per the anna university curriculum).
Using this much knowledge no one will get job.
Freshers will search job for continuously for next 6 months.( beyond that)
While searching job , they will know about the recruitment status for open
source languages, also for other languages.
We have lug in our kanchi , chennai and almost all cities.
Even though these college students dont know the power of open source.
Its our duty spread and make awareness of foss at least all colleges
surrounded by kanchipuram.
Our Upcoming Activity :
How to approach this?
our plan is,
*we will conduct boot camp training for open source languages for one week
in kanchi for freshers like how Mr.Chandrasekar babu conducted for us in
chennai.

So we will be going to invite all college final year IT students ( i.e
freshers) for this boot camp.
This boot camp is free or will may collect less money Rs.50 for rental ,
power supply.
We will call trainers from chennai lug or by our self will take classes /
give training for the following,
* Ruby
* Python
* Php
* Html
* CSS
* Java Script
* XML
* Mysql
* PostgreSql
Finally,
* Ruby On Rails.
We will conduct training class minimum 10 hours for each specification
mentioned above.
So if one fresher will attend our bootcamp for only two days means, surely
they will come to know
power of python or ruby or anything.
After conduct this one/two week training bootcamp,
we will expect at least 20 freshers to get into open source world.
While conducting this training , we will make awareness of foss and our lug
activities.
By this way, if any freshers need our assist means they will come to our
weekly lug meet (join with us) and we will give
continuous support to them.
After getting the training from us for any languages, the freshers need to
work in that language to get a open source job after 6 months.
Any how freshers will spend 6 months to searching job.
If they will spend more time to study these languages in 6 months, surely
they will get good job in open source world.
Also we will support them to contribute to open source world by developing
it.
To apply this ideas,
we need to go to each college surrounded by kanchi and then have to meet HOD
,Professors and students of CS, MCA, IT department
to spread about our " Boot Camp Training For Open Source Languages ".
So in future , it will help to give talk about open source to third and
second year students in all the colleges .
