The participants gathered at around 10.00 AM at AKT High school

First Rajkumar gave introduction about Kanchi LUG and its activities
Then Shrinivasan gave introduction about FOSS and the need for FOSS
and how to pass it to current generation students via strong community
activities.
Then Nithya Shrinivasan gave talk about Machine Learning algorithms ,
Bigdata ,
she talk about , how she get into Machine learning domain by self study
using python,
Bigdata tools .
Her speach is really awesome confident creating speech for the newbies who
wish to choose
for AI domain. Her speech gave good idea to get in Bigdata / AI domain
without spending
hard earned money to commercial computer centers
After Lunch ,
Mrs. Nithya shrinivasan gave practical demonstration on Bigdata / Hadoop
tools like
HDFS , Pig , Hive , Mahout , spark
finally a discussion went on to conduct KLUG meet regularly weekly or
monthly
at a specific place and to get newbie students to the community
overall its wonderful day to kickstart KLUG again
we thank Mr. Ellapan – HM of AKT school who provide place to conduct the
event.
