Are you passionate about doing some project?
Do you contact some one?
Do you search for a mentor who can guide you till you finish your project?

Do you send mails to someone asking "Will you mentor me?"
Do you get the answers as "No", "I cant" "Please find someone" "Busy" etc

Do you want to get the reply mails as
"Yes, Let us discuss further"
"Fine. Can you say more about you?"
"Wow. Your work is cool. I like that"
"Shall we start our work?"

Do you want mentors to mentor you?
