Hi Karthik,
Thanks for sharing the minutes of meeting with us.
The minutes of the meeting are great and summarizes our last week's
discussion very well.
I just wanted to clarify a few points from the blog.
In the point (3) Linux need Firewalls?
Firewalls are unnecessary for end-users
No, Firewalls are always very essential to any computers connected to the
internet to safeguard and best for our computer security.
Only time you need firewall system if you running server application.
No, All OS have a built-in firewall even our desktop machines have them
too. Linux has a kernel subsystem called "Netfilter" for managing network
traffic and that can be utilized through Iptables package. We also have
many user-interfaces for utilizing Iptables. One such default firewall
config tool used is uncomplicated firewall(ufw).
