[kanchilug] how to recover open office impress document

recently i have done a 30 pages of php presentation using open office impress. suddenly my system got crashed then i opened my document. it asked for the recovery. i pressed recover. 

but it shows only ##symbols. and it opens with writer.
can someone help me to recover my presentation.
