Hi All,

I am having a query on licensing,

Consider a software which is using MIT license,

software_v_1.0.0 - MIT
software_v_2.0.0 - MIT
software_v_3.0.0 - MIT
software_v_4.0.0 - MIT
software_v_5.0.0 - MIT

In the 6th version, they are changing it to GPL,

software_v_6.0.0 - GPL.

*My question is, *

Can i use the software_v_5.0.0 (not planning to update) with the
flexibility of MIT itself ? or Since they changed the licence for version 6
, all the previous versions will also adhere to that.

*Can you please provide some supporting documents ?*
