[kanchilug] ruby interpreter

hi,
is there any lite weight interpreter like bpython for ruby?
though irb doesn't provide syntax highlighting, auto completion even i can't
get the previously typed lines using up-arrow :(
i don't need ide's like aptana studio, i really need a small ruby
interpreter with
syntax highlighting, and auto completion.
is there any application like that?
