A stellar morning in the backyard, we had 17 White-crowns! The most we’ve had
previously was two! I’d already started an eBird report bcs of the Lesser
Goldfinches, and here’s what I ended up with in 40 minutes:
14 White-winged Dove
1 Mourning Dove
2 Curve-billed Thrasher
17 House Sparrow
9 House Finch
2 Lesser Goldfinch
6 American Goldfinch
17 White-crowned Sparrow
1 Red-winged Blackbird
1 Great-tailed Grackle
1 Northern Cardinal
