We will meet in the parking lot along 44th street and University Ave.
At 1:00 pm tomorrow 3-20-21.
It looks to be a nice afternoon but you might want to consider bringing some
water for yourselves.
Fellow Birders,
The South Plains Texas Master Naturalists would like to invite you to help
clean up Clapp Park this Saturday 3-20-21. We will meet
From 1:00-4:00 pm. But any amount of time you could
help would be welcome.
All necessary supplies will be provided. However if you want a more durable
glove than disposables, consider bringing your own.
The more adventurous might bring boots if they wish to work at the edges of the
playas and culverts.
Be sure to bring a mask and remember social distancing as we gather.
I will send out a reminder Friday after I’ve confirmed a meeting place with the
City Dept. of sanitation.
I’m so happy to be cleaning up this park! After the recent rains and wind
storms, there is plenty of trash detracting from this lovely getaway and
birding spot in our city.
