Had a great 12 minutes this morning at the feeders at about 7:45 am:
13 White-winged Dove
1 Mourning Dove
10 House Sparrow
5 House Finch
21 Pine Siskin
1 American Goldfinch
1 Red-winged Blackbird
1 Northern Cardinal
Plus 8 Juncos at dawn before this group arrived.
Yesterday, we were happy to have a 1st year White-crowned Sparrow at our
feeder. We haven't had one since last spring.
We've walked Maxey Park a couple of times in the last few days and are
really missing the geese. It seems so empty on the water. It's as if they
all left at the same time!
