Next to the Market Street at 19th and Quaker, in the electrical wires above the
unnamed Playa, I counted several (moving around) hundreds of Brown-headed
Cowbirds, and nine Yellow-Headed Blackbirds. This was after 7 pm, and the sun
starts sinking. They tend to gather here at this time of year, and it's easy
to view them, the sun at your back, from the parking lot.
