Heidi Trudell and I checked out Clapp Park late this morning. Mississippi Kites
are feeding young birds and it is adorable. The lake is almost dry and carp and
tadpoles in various stages of growth were dying (see photos and video on my
Facebook wall). One Yellow Warbler (not adult male) was seen on the southeast
side of the playa in trees and then in the playa weeds. Not much else going on
out there.
