[leasbirds] Clapp Park Cleanup Outcome and Bird Walk Announcement

To all the LEAS members (Barry Keith, Charlotte Sanders, Cienna Lyon, Joe 
Cochran, Jordan Cochran, Kassie Moore, Nancy McIntyre, Nancy Neill, Seth Neill, 
Sheri Anderson and Whitney Cochran (along with the two Cochran children) who 
came out to volunteer for the Clapp Park Cleanup yesterday afternoon, much 
thanks. Del Rio with the City of Lubbock attended and facilitated. This was an 
event hosted by South Plains Texas Master Naturalist group.

Our volunteer coordinator and LEAS member, Sheri Anderson, reports that 17 
volunteers collected 54 bags of trash. That is absolutely incredible. We can 
make a difference in our parks where we love to go birding. More of these will 
be announced in the months ahead. Thank you to absolutely everyone involved. 
Plan to participate when you can.

Further, LEAS Bird Walk will be held next Saturday, March 27. A location and 
time will be announced within a few days. Please join us.
