Greetings All:
It's been fun to hear about all the newly fledged Curve-billed
Thrashers in town. This is the first year I have had a PAIR in my
yard (I am hoping that it is the same singing male I have had for two
years finally finding love) and they conspicuously built a sham nest
in my cholla while surreptitiously building the real deal in a
neighbor's evergreens. They are now being quite skulky and I presume
they have either eggs or nestlings to conceal. Hoping for fledglings
soon.
